Chief Mother Funder

Beth Kurteson is the Founder and sole GP of The Mother Fund, a pre-seed and seed venture fund investing in the next wave of market-defining companies — both in the Motherhood category and in ventures founded by mothers across every industry. Her thesis: founders who’ve navigated motherhood are uniquely equipped to solve massive, overlooked problems with speed, creativity, and resilience.

Beth brings a decade of high-growth operator experience. As COO at Winklevoss Capital and Chief of Staff at Gemini, she worked directly with Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss to scale Gemini from five employees in NYC to more than 1,000 globally. She began her career in PR and trend forecasting at Stylesight, where she honed her instinct for spotting cultural shifts before they hit the mainstream.

A graduate of FIT (B.S.) and Columbia Business School (MBA), Beth is known for combining operational precision with an early-stage investor’s eye for cultural and market inflection points — and for backing founders long before the rest of the market catches on.
